President Jacob Zuma reshuffles his cabinet. picture by: thenewage.co.za |
On the 02 August 2012 our President Jacob Zuma applied this principle of systems should constantly change and renew themselves. Cabinet reshuffling is an event that occurs regularly, when the head of government rotates or changes the positions of ministers in the cabinet, to read more on who has been replaced by who or who are the new ministers in the cabinet www.timeslive.com
Reasons why the cabinet should be reshuffled:
- Replace resigned, retired and dead ministers.
- Bring in fresh skills.
- Remove poor performers.
- Reward hard workers within the cabinet.
- Create and rename departments.
- Reassign responsibilities to departments.
Change is always good but constant change can affect continuity and can bring disruptive to the governance and to delivery of services, the question that rises is, is the change about the performance of the ministers or is our president building a wall with people who would re-elect him and is he dismissing people who are a treat to him?
we always complain about everything... i think our president is trying all he can for his people. the cabinet reshuffle is for the best for S.A citizens
ReplyDeletei do agree with you but lets hope its done for the right reasons
DeleteOkey i see he's talking about change, but is that just words or they will be a change for real. Our president can lie...I MEAN IS A GOOD LIAR. Just wait and see.
ReplyDeletethat the question one every one's lips i think, because his been promising lots of thing but we do not see him delivering but hopefully all the cabinet members will do their job because this makes our president look bad if these ministers are not doing what they are suppose to do
Deletechange is good, some how i do like the way the cabinet change becuase they end up put people in wrong position who cannot fulfill their duties in time, because they put right people in wrong place with or without required qualifications is that South Africa i know
ReplyDeletehence i asked the question of wether the people that are asigned for the job are the right people, because if that's the case we still have a long way to go as a country
Deleteyes i agree with you change is good but very scary
ReplyDeletetrue
DeleteI think that our President is doing this because maybe he can see that this people are not doing their job and he's afraid to confront them so he then come up with this strategy.
ReplyDeletewhich is a good strategy i must say....because working with people is very hard n it can be very hard to tell who is not doing their work..... so for ministers to stay long in the cabinet its best they o their job well and then they will be awarded
DeletePresident Zuma has done a really good job in terms of the reshuffling...its a good strategy
ReplyDeleteit saves him the drama i must say and people seem to b happy with what he has done. i think it was about time
DeleteChange is very important for us people as well as organisations. It shows that we are learning in order to improve ourselves.
ReplyDeletei cudn't agree with you more especially f it's going to work for the best interest of the organisation
DeleteI mean what kind of reshuffle is this that does not address the failure? I mean, national government took over Limpopo's Education department and yet books have not yet reach poor communities there and EC education is in crisis. Oh Madam Zuma cheerleader in chief is actually in charge. I must say never mess with this guy, he is an elitist. I think its the reshuffle for the third time or something... yeah the spear man he is trying very hard for his way to mangaung
ReplyDeleteThe reshuffle was a great stragety and shows the Governments trying to improve slowly but surely.
ReplyDeletetrue and hopefully cabinent members will be effective
