The recent textbook saga that has occurred at Limpopo Province (Sishego) due to non-delivery ,dumping and shredding of textbook's in the Province has left the Basic Minister of Education Angie Motshekga in the "hot seat", as being the one to blame for the textbook saga. www.timeslive.com
It is sad how everyone is blaming the Minister where else she is just a part of an organisation and works hand in hand with individuals at the department and she's also a part of ANC. According to ciibroadcasting " the ANC also turned Minister with other members of it's powerful National Executive Committee slamming her for handling of crisis and also called her sacking".In the same vein trying to find a person that is responsible for a problem is fruitless. This is just not the time to play the blame game because this looks bad on our government as a whole not just the Department of Education.
If the Minister is to be moved from the seat then lots of people from the Department of Education need to follow her because this means that they also incompetent, the suppose to be working hand in hand with the minister they are a system that is interconnected( works together), and the Department should hire new skilled people who can be assigned to do the job.
if we do not blame the minster than who is to blame
ReplyDeletethe minister assigns peple to do the job and the people that were assidned to do the job need to report bck to the minister, the only mistake the minister did is that she did not do follow up
DeleteOkey, enough with the blaming. I understand there was a chaos but dumping new textbooks is other issue, but cant someone fix this mess without pointing fingers to others.
ReplyDeleteyes the problem could be solved but the must be someone accountable for all of this
Deletewe need to understand that we cannot change what has already happend... but as citizens we wont rest till we find clousure to the whole chaos. We cannot point fingers,YES,but we cannot turn a blind eye on this matter, we want justice!
ReplyDeletetrue but then blaming one person for such a huge mess is being unreasonablle because ses assidned people to do their task and all this points back to her......i think this was all a sabotage
DeleteThis is a very serious issue that has created a lot of unneccessary bad image for the country as a whole. There mustt be someone to blame and to pay.
ReplyDeletei think they should hire some one to invistigate this whole thing then when they are certain of who is to blame then that person will have to resign immediatly
