Opportunist Julius Malema and the former ANCYL president addressing the crowd at the memorial service of the mine workers at Nort West (Marikane Mines) picture by:telegraph.co.uk |
A person could ask themselves why do people have to die fighting for their rights ?what is happening is no difference to the events that took place during apartheid were people died for freedom. What are our political leaders doing? instead of working together to solve these problems but instead they using each and every opportunity they get to badmouth each other, this on it's own is not good for this country because its shows that we are not united as a country.
This tragic accident has been sad to everyone but for Malema this was just a medium or an opportunity to tell grieving people that our president is a "coward" www.timeslive.com , how can one try to top score political points when people are mourning for their loved ones? this was very insensitive of him and was taking advantage of the situation because he was appealing to peoples emotions considering the pain they are going through, the families that lost their loved ones were not interested in political disputes but came to the memorial service to come to terms with what happened.
There's time for everything and everything has it's own time, our political leaders should take this into consideration.
I agree with you that politicians should stop taking advantage of people. This was supposed to be a memorial service not a political dispute.
ReplyDeletei hate the fact that they take advantage of every situations and they dont know the value of a funeral and to think that those famalies were going through pain. what Malema was addressing was a least of their problems
DeleteMalema did not go there for condolances, but to give his opinion our the government. The former ANCYL president content was not inline with the context. Politicians need to learn to say the right things at the right time and at the right place.
ReplyDeleteMalema is out to get Jacob Zuima, by the looks of thing he is watching each and every move that Jacob Zuma does so tha he can be there to point out the mistakes and then tell people how ou president is useless..... i thin Julius is still bitter From being expelled.
DeleteMalema and Zuma must go find a relavent place for their contradicting opinions and not use peoples grivience to do so. Politicians are used to this thing of theirs of taking a situation and use iT at their advantage and its about time we fight them by chasing them away on such events.
ReplyDeletei wish that was possiable , these [eople are very influencial hence they all take advantage of local citizens
DeleteJulius Malema is an opportunist, I think thatn he must just get over himself.
ReplyDeletetrue, i thought when he was disciplined it will be the end of him but he seems to be making ure that his opinion are heard by the public
Deletei seriou donot blame for making the memorial service a politic thing they were just give themselves free publicity
ReplyDeletethat not morally ethical , what happend to respecting other peoples feelings and being sensetive....this is just plain disrespect
Deletetrue its high time that the justice system is fixed because ther is no difference between te leaders of the aartheid era and the democratic leaders, all they know is to point fners at who did what wat happened to the principle of unity.
ReplyDeleteexactly , they all pointing fingers at each other instead of judt working together .... with unity they can achieve lots of things
DeleteIts quite boring to see them interfering to affairs that do not involve them or where they are not wanted. I think they doing these things to fulfil their personal desires, thats the end of it. Their talks are always contrary to what they supposed to be doing, what they just want is public acceptance and believe me when I say they can go to the extent that they could even hurt innocent souls to get what they want.,. I am so disappointed with all these politicians
ReplyDeletei fully agree with you, that what happens whn some one is so hungry for power that they forget to put other people first
ReplyDeleteWhat they do is really bad instead of of helping them whiping their tears they they preach politics, you cant preach politics while others are mourning and again those people who have been killed were not politicians.
ReplyDeletetrue this is very unethical
